The Waterford Wildcats lost against the Le Grand Bulldogs on January 10th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Waterford fell 58-45 to the Bulldogs. Waterford has not had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Waterford still got an impressive performance from Christian Gayle, who scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gayle has scored all season. Izaiah Sanchez was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Waterford dropped their record down to 10-15 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Le Grand, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.
Waterford will face off against the Reds at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Le Grand, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
