Volleyball Recap: Racine Lutheran Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Racine Lutheran entered their tilt with Clinton on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Cougars on Saturday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Racine Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samantha Agerholm, who had six aces and five digs. Those six aces gave Agerholm a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Schatzman, who had ten digs and two aces.

Racine Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Clinton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Racine Lutheran will face off against The Prairie School at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton, they will square off against Big Foot at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
