The Piqua Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Greenville Green Wave at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Piqua and ten for Greenville.
Last Monday, Piqua ended up a good deal behind Meadowdale and lost 59-41. Piqua has not had much luck with Meadowdale recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Greenville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 47-43 to Fairborn.
Piqua has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for Greenville, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16.
Piqua couldn't quite finish off Greenville in their previous meeting back in January and fell 27-25. Can Piqua avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
