Shorecrest Prep is 2-7 against Northside Christian since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Last Wednesday, Shorecrest Prep was beaten by St. Petersburg Catholic 37-6. Shorecrest Prep was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-2.
Meanwhile, Northside Christian had to suffer through a rough 88-17 loss at the hands of Clearwater. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northside Christian has scored all season.
Shorecrest Prep bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Northside Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Shorecrest Prep was dealt a bruising 57-20 defeat at the hands of Northside Christian in their previous meeting back in January. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Shorecrest Prep was down 33-10.
