MacArthur came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Mt. Zion Braves 64-43. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

MacArthur's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zahnya Gibbs, who posted five points and ten steals. Lexi Meyer was another key player, putting up 11 points.

MacArthur smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

MacArthur is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Mt. Zion, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. MacArthur will venture away from home to challenge Jacksonville at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. MacArthur is facing Jacksonville at the right time seeing as Jacksonville is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Mt.
