Last Monday, things could have been worse for Kingsland, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-43 loss to Spring Grove.
Meanwhile, LeRoy-Ostrander had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 60-55 W over Lanesboro on Monday. LeRoy-Ostrander's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
LeRoy-Ostrander's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Benita Nolt, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nolt has scored all season. Miranda Nagel was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.

Kingsland strolled past LeRoy-Ostrander when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 73-56. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kingsland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
