AA District 11 recap October 22, 2013
Camden Central was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in AA District 11. The Lions beat Waverly Central 48-0 earlier in the week.
Lewis County extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Stewart County, 35-8. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Lewis County's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Daven Odom threw for 39 yards and Cody Owens had 39 yards receiving. On the ground Lucas Graham chipped in 104 yards.
Bobby Sharp's team's dynamic duo of Odom and Owens proved tough for the Rebels to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Graham was a passing and rushing force as the Panthers topped Stewart County.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Hickman County's Zach Roberts and Logan Hill have proven to be a lethal combination. Roberts has thrown for 784 yards this season, while Hill has 14 catches for 399 yards. Lewis County's Graham leads the league in rushing yards with 857.
An important game coming up in AA District 11 this week will be when Creek Wood takes on the Panthers. As it stands, the Red Hawks are in eighth, while Lewis County is in first.
