Carver entered their tilt with Shaw on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They really took it to the Shaw Raiders for the full four quarters, racking up a 77-42 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 31 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Tobiaz Tolbert, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kodee Truesdale, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Carver smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Shaw's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zack Denson, who had 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kristian Gibson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Carver's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.8 points. As for Shaw, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Carver wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 103-34 win against Kendrick on the 30th. As for Shaw, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-49 loss against Spencer on the 28th.
