AA Region VI recap October 29, 2013
Bishop England added to the longest winning streak in AA Region VI this week by beating Woodland, 35-7. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Battery Creek led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Burke.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Ridgeland/Hardeeville's Derrell Myers and Gavin Bush have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback Myers has thrown for 1,048 yards this season, while Bush has 38 catches for 647 yards. Nate Schlosser from Academic Magnet leads the league in rushing with 959 yards.
Schlosser of the the Raptors is only 41 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Schlosser has rushed for 959 yards on 184 carries so far this year.
The Jaguars are in third place, while Bishop England is in second place.
