The Sunrise Mountain Miners will take on the Centennial Bulldogs at 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a eight-game winning streak alive.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sunrise Mountain walked away with it. They didn't even let Canyon Springs onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Friday.
Meanwhile, Centennial's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 35-28 win over Somerset Academy Losee.
Dale Flores jr and Vic Plotnikov were among the main playmakers for Centennial as the former picked up 162 receiving yards and a touchdown and the latter threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt. Flores jr's longest reception was for an incredible 81 yards. Jhbari Christmas made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Sunrise Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Centennial, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.
