The West Geauga Wolverines will face off against the Bryan Golden Bears at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Geauga is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Lely Percassi spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Ava Borz was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Bryan put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Memorial a 4-0 shutout.
Memorial's batters probably weren't too happy with Thea Staten, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (she gave up three walks).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mylie Vollmer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ana McCoy-Martinez, who earned two runs and one stolen base.
Bryan is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
