Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Luke Berrelez, who went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 24 points. Meanwhile, Deer Valley entered their tilt with Thunderbird last Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Titans 69-40. The Skyhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.
Estrella Foothills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Deer Valley, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
