West Union is 0-10 against Eastern since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The West Union Dragons will be staying on the road to face off against the Eastern Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Monday, it was a hard-fought contest, but West Union had to settle for a 45-43 defeat against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington.
Meanwhile, Eastern's 14-5 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a serious blow against Lynchburg-Clay on Monday, falling 53-24. Eastern was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.
West Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Eastern, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2.
West Union was taken down by Eastern 61-14 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Can West Union avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
