The Beyer Patriots won the last time they faced the Lathrop Spartans, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Beyer secured a 47-41 W over the Spartans.
Lathrop's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reniel Crisostomo, who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Robert Ellis, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Beyer's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Lathrop, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.
Beyer will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Vikings at 7:15 p.m. As for Lathrop, they will head out on the road to take on the Bruins on Saturday.
