Silas hasn't had much luck against Peninsula recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Rams will welcome the Seahawks at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Silas 4.1, Peninsula 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Silas took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Timberline.

Griffin Owen tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Eli Lystra, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Christian Peterson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Peninsula finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of Gig Harbor by a score of 1-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Seahawks were not able to get on the board.
Silas pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Peninsula, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3.
Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Silas has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .474. However, it's not like Peninsula struggles in that department as they've averaged .514. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Silas might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Peninsula in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Rams have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
