Rocky Laremore and Alex Rvovic certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Laremore scored five points along with 11 rebounds and three steals, while Rvovic scored ten points along with three steals. Laremore is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.
Whittell's defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-21. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.4 points per game. As for Sage Ridge, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-17.
Whittell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sage Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-29 defeat vs. Mineral County on the 10th.
