La Costa Canyon is a perfect 6-0 against Sage Creek since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Mavericks will challenge the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. La Costa Canyon's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Sage Creek's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
La Costa Canyon took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Carlsbad a 5-0 shutout.
