Volleyball Game Preview: Clear Spring Blazers vs. Patterson Mill Huskies

The Clear Spring Blazers will square off against the Patterson Mill Huskies on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Clear Spring comes in on five and Patterson Mill on eight.

Clear Spring is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on South Carroll with a sharp 3-0 win.

Malea Shingleton and Callie Hose were among the main playmakers for Clear Spring as the former had 35 assists and eight digs and the latter had 17 digs and three assists. Shingleton is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 26 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Clear Spring was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Patterson Mill made easy work of Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Clear Spring's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Patterson Mill, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3-2.

Everything went Clear Spring's way against Patterson Mill when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Clear Spring made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Blazers repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
