While Grant's  victory against Lincoln wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Generals won by a  run and slipped past the Cardinals  7-6. The  win was familiar territory for the Generals, who have now won three  games in a row.
 Hazel Heron spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.
 At the plate,  Abigail Butler was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.  Nora DuLong was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
Grant pushed their record up to 7-10 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Lincoln,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-10.
