It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grandview had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the McGregor Bulldogs a 10-0 shutout. The Zebras might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The win (which was Grandview's 13th in a row) raised their record to 25-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for McGregor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-5.

Grandview will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
