Lake Country Lutheran's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sam Hans, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. Hans hasn't dropped below 15 points for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Daniel Cleary, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why St. Francis lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keenan Green. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. Green is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last four games he's played. Josh Green was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Lake Country Lutheran pushed their record up to 15-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.3 points per game. As for St. Francis, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
Lake Country Lutheran will take on Brookfield Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake Country Lutheran has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,398 points over their last 18 matchups. As for St. Francis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kenosha Christian Life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Francis knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 17 matches -- so hopefully Kenosha Christian Life likes a good challenge.
