Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

When it comes to explaining why Trinity Christian Academy lost, don't look at Haven Stephens. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. Stephens has become a key player for the Warriors: the team is 2-1 when she posts at least ten rebounds, but 2-5 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Cenzie Pyeatt, who posted eight points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Trinity Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Harts Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Trinity Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-52 defeat against Fannindel on the 5th. Hopefully Harts Bluff paid attention to the Warriors' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Warriors at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
