Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Temple Christian). They came out on top against the Dallas Academy Bulldogs by a score of 64-57 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Watchmen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Dallas Academy lost, don't look at Josh Maki. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. The match was Maki's third in a row with at least ten points. William Russell was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Temple Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for Dallas Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Temple Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dallas Academy, they and Dallas Christian Academy will face off on January 14, 2025 without much rest having both just played.
