The Macomb Bombers will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Camp Point Central Panthers at 7:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Macomb comes in on three and Camp Point Central on four.
Last Tuesday, Macomb took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 54-22 victory over Illinois Valley Central.
Meanwhile, Camp Point Central earned a 54-43 victory over Illini West on Tuesday.
Macomb pushed their record up to 21-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Camp Point Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.
Macomb didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Camp Point Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 32-27 win. Will Macomb repeat their success, or does Camp Point Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
