Norte Vista was led to victory by Carter Fulton and Hugo Morales. Fulton scored 23 points, while Morales dropped a double-double on 27 points and 16 rebounds. The match was Fulton's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Marinio Elissaint, who scored nine points along with five assists and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Norte Vista and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for Patriot, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.
Norte Vista will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ramona at 7:00 p.m. Ramona is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Patriot, they will head out on the road to face off against Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arlington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Patriot in California (Arlington is ranked 174th, while Patriot is ranked 801st).
