Baseball Recap: Vista PEAK Prep Snags Seventh Win in Last Nine Games

Vista PEAK Prep barely beat Thomas Jefferson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bison were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Spartans on Friday. The Bison might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Eli Garcia, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Brancato, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Vista PEAK Prep is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Thomas Jefferson, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
