The Mabank Panthers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Paris, falling 31-0. While losing is never fun, Mabank can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 811th, while Paris is ranked 299th).
Mabank's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Paris, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Mabank does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Paris will head out on the road to face off against Celina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Celina will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
