Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Centennial

Centennial entered their tilt with Episcopal on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Knights.

Ava Ellis and Gabby Saavedra did most of the damage at the plate: Ellis went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Saavedra went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. That double was Saavedra's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kalie Randall, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Episcopal, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Centennial will take on A&M Consolidated in a tournament on Saturday. As for Episcopal, they will face off against Magnolia at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
