Volleyball Recap: Tri-Point Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tri-Point had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Calvary Christian Academy Knights.

Tri-Point had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-17, 25-9.

Khloe Miller-Dyrby paced Tri-Point's offense, picking up ten kills. Miller-Dyrby got some help from Rachel Darda and her 18 assists. Miller-Dyrby also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addisyn Honeycutt, racking up three apiece.

Tri-Point's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Tri-Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Donovan on the 16th. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Tri-City on the 16th.
