Tolleson has gone a perfect 3-0 against Dobson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tolleson Wolverines will square off against the Dobson Mustangs at 3:45 p.m. Dobson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tolleson, who comes in off a win.
Tolleson's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Timnath.

OSCAR MOLINA and ANTHONY RAMIREZ made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, MOLINA struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, RAMIREZ tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave MOLINA a new career-high in strikeouts. At the plate, MOLINA scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while RAMIREZ scored a run while going 1-for-3. MOLINA also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season.
In other pitching news, DIEGO SERNA looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent over his last four contests.
Back at the plate, Tolleson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ADRIAN NUNEZ, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Tolleson hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Timnath struck out 11 times.
Meanwhile, Dobson came up short against McClintock on Tuesday, falling 13-5.
Tolleson's record is now 5-6-1. As for Dobson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Tolleson came out on top in a nail-biter against Dobson in their previous matchup back in March of 2018, sneaking past 2-1. Will Tolleson repeat their success, or does Dobson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
