The Andover Trojans won the last time they faced the Maize Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Andover blew past Maize 58-18 on the road. With Andover ahead 34-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Among those leading the charge was Brooke Walker, who scored 16 points along with 5 steals. Another player making a difference was Bella Bouddhara, who scored 14 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Andover and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Maize, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Andover will be playing in front of their home fans against McPherson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maize, they will head out on the road to face off against Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
