The result was nothing new for Meadowbrook Academy, who have now won three contests by 25 points or more so far this season.
Leading Meadowbrook Academy to victory were Zach Ross and Tico Smith. Ross dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 steals, while Smith scored 27 points along with 8 steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least 25% of Meadowbrook Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Fonseca, who scored 8 points along with 8 steals.
When it comes to explaining why St. John Lutheran lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cannon Patrick. Despite the final result, he scored 9 points.
