The Sullivan West Bulldogs had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Pawling by a score of 32-20 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sullivan West.
Leading Sullivan West to victory were Jason Rodriguez and Rally Cruz. Rodriguez picked up 37 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Cruz rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown.
Sullivan West's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Pawling, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 8-1.
Sullivan West will take on Moravia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Moravia is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Pawling does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
