There's no place like home for Manchester, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Homer Trojans on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Flying Dutchmen in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won five in a row.

While Manchester won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25, 25-20.

Evelyn St. Charles paced Manchester's offense, picking up seven kills. St. Charles got some help from Olivia Woods and her 22 assists. St. Charles also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Abbi Austin, each putting up three.

Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 24-13-4. As for Homer, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-17-4.

Manchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Homer, they will head out on the road to face off against Concord at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
