In what's become a running theme this season, the Southlake Carroll Dragons gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They breezed by Byron Nelson at home to the tune of 86-56. Winning may never get old, but Southlake Carroll sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Byron Nelson's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kennedy Moss, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds, and Belle Ratliff who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Moss has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Kinsey Morris was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Southlake Carroll pushed their record up to 26-5 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.2 points. As for Byron Nelson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 19 of their last 21 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-26 record this season.
Southlake Carroll will square off against Fossil Ridge at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Southlake Carroll has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Byron Nelson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
