Pasadena lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Amy Caballero, who scored 14 points. Caryme Molina was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Pasadena has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season. As for South Houston, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-17.
Pasadena will take on Dobie at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dobie is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for South Houston, they will head out on the road to take on Pasadena Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Pasadena Memorial focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Wednesday.
