Fans of Veritas Christian Academy have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Veritas Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caitlin O'Malley led the charge by scoring 13 points along with seven assists and three steals. The contest was O'Malley's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Morrison, who scored ten points along with seven steals.
Veritas Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Quakertown Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Veritas Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Calvary Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on December 29th. Calvary Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 407th in Pennsylvania, while Veritas Christian Academy is ranked 71st in New Jersey). Quakertown Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coventry Christian at 3:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
