AAA District 6 recap Sept. 26, 2012
White County made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,496 from 8,944. The advance stemmed from a 31-6 victory over the Warriors last week.
Cumberland County led AAA District 6 in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on Cumberland County.
Coffee County Central's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Raiders feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Peyton Meeker has thrown for 252 yards this season, while Logan Baumstein has three catches for 58 yards. Deangelo Rozier leads the league in rushing with 166 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Cookeville takes on the Jets. As it stands, the Cavaliers are in first, while Cumberland County is in fourth.
