Atlanta has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Posen Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Atlanta comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Last Tuesday, Atlanta took a serious blow against the Eagles, falling 65-17. Atlanta has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Posen unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. Their tough 77-57 defeat to Hillman might stick with them for a while. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Atlanta dropped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Posen, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.
Atlanta was dealt a bruising 75-39 defeat at the hands of the Vikings when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Atlanta avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
