On Friday, First Baptist beat Omaha Warriors 36-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for First Baptist.
First Baptist was led to victory by Maya McKinney and Lydia Wynja. McKinney scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Wynja scored 20 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which Wynja has scored at least a third of First Baptist's points.
First Baptist has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Omaha Warriors, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
First Baptist on the road again on Friday and play against Tournament Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Omaha Warriors does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
