The Vail Christian Saints will head out on the road to challenge the North Park Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Vail Christian has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-21, which was the final score in Vail Christian's tilt against the Tigers on Friday.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 26-26 at halftime, North Park was not quite the Tigers' equal in the second half on Monday. North Park fell 59-52 to the Tigers. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Park in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.
Vail Christian dropped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.6 points per game. As for North Park, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
Vail Christian came up short against the Wildcats in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 43-32. Can Vail Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
