Grand Junction Central's loss came despite strong showings from Camren Redding and Blake Rooks. Redding scored 11 points, while Rooks scored 11 points. The matchup was Rooks' fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Grand Junction Central struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Colorado Academy pulled down 11.
