The Vineland Fighting Clan's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 59-49 to Bridgeton. Vineland lost against Bridgeton in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 52-30 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bridgeton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zikwon Anderson, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Kyion Gray was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Vineland's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Bridgeton, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Vineland will be playing at home against Buena at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Buena comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Bridgeton, they will head out on the road to face off against Cherokee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cherokee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bridgeton in New Jersey (Cherokee is ranked 92nd, while Bridgeton is ranked 232nd).
