Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette Christian Academy will take on North Vermilion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Vermilion will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Lafayette Christian Academy is ranked third). As for Westgate, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. St. Thomas More knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully Westgate likes a good challenge.
