In what's become a running theme this season, the Wekiva Mustangs gave their fans yet another huge  win on Thursday. They breezed by Freedom on the road  to the tune of  58-22. 58 seems to be a good number for Wekiva as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  points in their previous game.
  Zariah Hercule was a one-man wrecking crew for Wekiva as she  scored 15 points along with eight  steals. That's the first time this season that  Hercule  scored 15 or more  points. Another player making a difference was  Makayla Bell, who  scored eight points along with six  rebounds and two  steals.
 The  victory  makes it two in a row for Wekiva and  bumps their season record up to 13-9. As for Freedom, they have  been struggling recently, as they've  lost 11 of their last 14 games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wekiva on the road again  on Wednesday and play against Jones at 7:30  p.m.  on January 31st. Jones will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 486th, while Wekiva is ranked 121st). As for Freedom, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Harmony at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
