The Verrado Vipers will challenge the Paradise Valley Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Paradise Valley took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Verrado, who comes in off a win.
Verrado had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt North Canyon on Monday. The Vipers put the hurt on the Rattlers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Vipers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Verrado was: they took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-6, 25-4.

That's the most aces Brown has posted over her last six matchups. Elleana Bejarano was another key player, getting 17 digs and four aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Verrado was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Paradise Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Desert Edge.
Paradise Valley took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Everything went Verrado's way against Paradise Valley in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Verrado made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Vipers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
