If Pueblo Centennial were riding high off their 34-0 takedown of Liberty last week, that ride came to an abrupt end. Pueblo Centennial suffered a grim 0-21 defeat to Harrison on Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Senior Orlando Westbrook, who picked up 70 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs, was a major factor in Harrison's success. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse sophomore Davonn Stevens, who racked up 9 tackles.
The loss dropped Pueblo Centennial's record to 2-1. The win bumped Harrison's record up to 3-0.
Next week Pueblo Centennial take on Kent Denver at 1:00 PM. Harrison will look to defend their home turf against Pueblo Central at 7:00 PM.
