On Tuesday, Gilbert Christian got the win against the Rattlers by a conclusive 53-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for Gilbert Christian.
Gilbert Christian was led to victory by Kaila Aston and Unesu Machiri. Aston scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Machiri scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillie Duitsman, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Gilbert Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-10. As for Crismon, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Pusch Ridge Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Gilbert Christian will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Rattlers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
