Softball Recap: Grosse Pointe North Comes Up Short

Grosse Pointe North extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-5. They lost 15-7 to the Utica Eisenhower Eagles. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Norsemen's highest-scoring contest to date.

As for Utica Eisenhower, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games.

For Utica Eisenhower's part, Addisyn Thomas was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Viviano, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
