Cajon was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redlands East Valley Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  3-1  defeat  back in September.
 While Cajon had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 22-25, 25-19,  25-18.
Their offense was headlined by  Ailina Butler and  Manaya Odom, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from  Sayra Corona and her 31 assists.  Annalisia Garcia controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Cajon's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Redlands East Valley,  the  win  got them back to even at 10-10.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cajon is set to  take on  their familiar foe Citrus Valley  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Redlands East Valley will  face off against  rival Yucaipa  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
